Mesa Arizona Temple and Visitor’s Center
The annual Mesa Temple Garden Christmas Lights display is enjoyed by millions every year through the month of December. Located on Main Street in Mesa, at the Mesa Arizona Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Christmas displays are breathtaking.
Hundreds of thousands of lights are used to create beautiful nativity scenes and holiday dioramas. They stretch through and around the Temple gardens, creating a larger-than-life walking tour that will mesmerize you. Free half-hour concerts are presented every night at 7:00 PM, and feature a variety of groups and musical styles.

Bass Pro Shops in Northwest Mesa hosts Santa’s Wonderland, every December day through Christmas Eve. Offering a unique variety of Christmas activities and shows – including photographs with Santa – this place is well worth the trip.
The 170,000-square-foot complex is known for bringing the great outdoors, indoors. Part museum, part art gallery, and part education, conservation, and entertainment center – there is something for everyone from wall murals to shopping, from fish-feeding to a unique interior restaurant. Mesa boasts one of the few dinner theatres in the Phoenix area. Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre offers cocktails, an all-you-can-eat dinner, and live Broadway entertainment for one ticket price. The four theaters that incorporate Mesa Arts Center are located downtown, along with five galleries and 14 art studios. Several professional performances and exhibits are planned for December, including The Nutcracker, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Candlelight Messiah, and Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, among others. Don’t forget to look at residential Christmas lights. Mesa boasts some of the most beautiful in the area, and they love to see folks enjoying their displays.
