Vegas is widely known for it's variety of entertainment, and the jazz clubs are no exception. If you are visiting the Vegas area, and have a love for jazz, here are a few places you just have to put on your list.

The Caylix Jazz Supper Club, located on West Sahara Boulevard, is an upper class jazz club with a nice, soft ambiance. The atmosphere is elegant and inviting, suitable for the most discriminating of tastes. The lunch menu offers a decadent selection including Blacken Tilapia with Mango Chutney, French Quarter Pasta with Andoulle Sausage, Grilled Shrimp, Bourban Street Crawfish Estoufee, and other delectable choices. There is always an excellent array of artist performing in the club to accentuate the fine atmosphere. If you are interested in visiting this club, you will need to make a reservation ahead of time. Tickets to special event can be purchased from Ticketmaster.

If you are going to visit Jazz clubs in Vegas, you can't forget the House of Blues at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The famous music hall there is the heart and soul of live music. This club is a bit more casual than the Caylix Jazz Club, and you won't need a reservation here. You can visit on Sundays for the gospel Brunch where you can enjoy tastey items like Chicken Jambalaya, Cheese Grits or Mac and Cheese, Fried Chicken or BBQ Chicken, Roasted Potatoes and much more. And during the week they serve an amazing American Cuisine. There's quite a few jazz entertainers that play at this club, and there is always something going on. They have a beautiful dining room, or you can relax in the Foundation room. By stepping out onto the Foundation Patio, you can enjoy a fabulous view of the strip.

On East Sahara Avenue, you can visit Jubilee Jazz. This club offers an old school, easy speak ambiance. At this club, you can enjoy music six days a week. This club is also casual, but has great music with the upright bass, and piano. And, for that reason, it is a great jazz club to visit in Vegas.

The fact that there is a great selection of clubs in Vegas is undeniable, and it can be difficult to know where to go. But, when you want to enjoy a night on the town, and some great music, these are some of the first places to look. But, don't stop with these selections. Sometimes the best places can be those that are virtually unheard of. So, be sure to check out some of the smaller joints in the area, you just might find something you absolutely love.
